From the dreamy long-grass meadows and private waterfall, to the heritage orchard and towering totara forrest, nature’s beauty frames every photo.
We’re all about versatility — for your ceremony, the reception and all the beautiful moments in between, our setting is a near-blank canvas for you bring your unique vision to life. The possibilities for personalisation are endless.

A daytime wedding follows a concise yet relaxed timetable that only features wedding elements that are valuable to the couple. The order of events and timings are interchangeable, ensuring a wedding day that is unique to you.
Take advantage of the spring/summer season with a beautiful morning ceremony, followed by a laid-back long lunch. Mimosas can definitely be involved. Skip the late night party and get the music started early, perhaps peppering in speeches between songs as your guests relax in the shade.
A daytime wedding works out to be less stress, cost effective, and gives you more time with your nearest + dearest.

Pricing
Suitable for up to 80 guests, we offer packages up to 40 as well as micro-weddings.
Event timing is from 8am to 6pm with our event coordination team taking care of both setup and pack-down (and everything in between).
We function like a full-service venue except you bring in your own catering and beverages.

Event Coordinator
We are delighted to partner with event coordinator, Weddings By Samantha, who we receive glowing feedback on for each and every wedding.
They will set up and packdown the wedding as well as run the event on the day. From putting up your decorations to liaising with your vendors and all the little things in between.
An event coordinator allows you to enjoy your day and be completely present.

We had an intimate wedding ceremony with 15 guests at Little Wilderness in May 2022 and truly couldn't have asked for a better day. George was incredibly helpful with the lead up to the day and all of our questions, as well as being an incredible event manager and celebrant! We received nothing but praise about George from our guests, and they felt like he was just one of the family. We couldn’t be happier to have found Little Wilderness for our special day. The place is magical, surrounded with beautiful nature that doesn’t even need much decorations. There are many stunning spots within the property for ceremony and for the photos. George (the owner) is amazing as well, he was there for us all the time, picking up multiple phone calls and giving advices. We recommend him as a manager for the event, he helped us make the day run smoothly, even with the last minute requests. All the guests loved it as well.
